JUMPSTART YOUR WRITING
Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m., beginning on January 13, 2009. |
| This class is designed for people who have put their writing aside for a while, or who have run into blocks, and want to get going again. It is also designed for people who have always wanted to write, but need the motivation to start. We will do various exercises to get the juices flowing, talk about how to set up a sure-fire writing schedule, etc. It is designed to help you identify the things that will keep you on track. |
SHARPEN YOUR LANGUAGE
Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m., beginning January 14, 2009. |
| This class is designed for people who would like to take their language to the next level. We will be looking very closely at words and sentences, syntax, and rhythm (yours and those of other writers). Many exercises will be aimed at deconstructing your current writing style and expanding your kitbag of linguistic tools. |
